In-Home Personal Training in Chatham Hills

Private, one-on-one personal training that comes to you in Chatham Hills. I’m Grant Denney, an NCSF-certified personal trainer and strength coach. For Chatham Hills residents I run sessions in your home — your gym room, basement or garage, the equipment I bring, and nobody else around — so training fits into the morning before work or the hour after the kids leave, instead of competing with a drive and a crowded floor.

How in-home training works here

  • It starts with a consultation at your home. We talk through your goals, injury history and schedule, and I look at the space and any equipment you already own. Most Chatham Hills homes have more than enough to work with; where something’s worth adding, I’ll tell you exactly what and what not to bother with.
  • Early slots. I start at 5 am. A 5:30 session is done before the rest of the house is up.
  • Completely private. No membership, no other members, no waiting on a rack. Just the two of us.
  • Everything tracked. Your program, weights, scheduled workouts and progress live in the Ultimate You Fitness app, and I see what you log between sessions.
  • The studio when you want it. My private studio at FlexWerk in Carmel City Center is about 10 minutes down US-31 for the days you’d rather get out of the house or need heavier equipment.

What we actually work on

Real strength training, scaled to you. Every program is built from an assessment of what your body can handle right now — I’ve rebuilt my own after multiple joint surgeries, so I take your knees, shoulders and back seriously — and then progresses: squat, hinge, push, pull and carry patterns, hip mobility and glute strength underneath all of it, and nutrition habits you can keep, with protein as the non-negotiable. Golfers get rotational power and a back that holds up for 18 holes. Parents get strong enough to keep up. Clients in their 50s, 60s and beyond get the balance and leg strength that keeps them independent. And if you simply want to look and feel better in your own skin, that’s a perfectly good reason — it’s what most people start with.

Who this suits

  • Parents whose only reliable hour is before the house wakes up
  • Anyone with a home gym they bought and never quite figured out how to use
  • Adults over 50 who want to stay strong, steady and playing golf for decades
  • People who’d rather their training stayed private

Common questions

Do I need a home gym?

No. A little floor space is enough to start, and I bring portable equipment. If you do have a setup, we’ll use it, and I’ll tell you honestly whether anything is worth adding.

What about the weeks I travel?

Your program travels with you in the app — hotel-gym and bodyweight versions of your workouts, with me checking what you log — so a trip doesn’t mean two weeks off.

What does it cost?

In-home sessions are priced a little above studio sessions to cover the travel. We’ll settle on frequency and pricing at the consultation — it’s a conversation, not a sales pitch, and you’ll leave with a clear plan either way. The FAQ has general pricing notes.
