Personal Training in Zionsville, IN

Looking for a personal trainer in Zionsville who takes your injury history as seriously as your goals? I’m Grant Denney, an NCSF-certified personal trainer and strength coach. Zionsville clients train with me at a private studio in Carmel City Center — about 15 minutes east on 116th Street or 146th Street — or in their own homes anywhere from the Village to the neighborhoods out toward Whitestown.

Where we train when you live in Zionsville

  • FlexWerk Fitness, Carmel City Center (885 Monon Grn Blvd, Suite 120). A private studio with everything we need and nobody waiting on the equipment. From the Village it’s 116th Street straight east; from the north side of Zionsville, 146th Street is usually quicker.
  • In-home personal training in Zionsville. The Village, the neighborhoods off Michigan Road and Zionsville Road, and out toward Whitestown — I come to you with portable equipment. A good fit for clients with young kids, a home gym that’s gathering dust, or a schedule that doesn’t leave room for a drive.
  • Indy Performance Authority (537 E Ohio Street, downtown Indianapolis) if you work downtown — about 25 minutes down US-421 or I-65 — plus online coaching through the app for weeks you travel.

Who I work with in Zionsville

Zionsville clients tend to be busy professionals and parents who want to feel strong and athletic again, not just “get a workout in,” and adults over 50 who want to stay strong, mobile and independent for a long time. I also work with women who want to build muscle and strength, people training around knee, shoulder and back issues, and clients on GLP-1 medications who want the weight they lose to be fat, not muscle.

What your program looks like

  1. Assessment first. Your goals, injury history, schedule and what your body can realistically handle right now.
  2. Progressive strength training with real attention to form — squat, hinge, push, pull, carry — scaled to you, whether that’s an empty bar or a loaded one.
  3. Joint stability and mobility work built into every session, so getting stronger doesn’t mean getting hurt.
  4. Nutrition habits you can actually keep, with protein as the non-negotiable. Try the free calculators for a starting point.
  5. Everything in the app. Your scheduled workouts, weights, readiness and progress live in the Ultimate You Fitness app, and I see what you log.

Questions Zionsville clients ask

Do you offer in-home training in Zionsville?

Yes, anywhere in Zionsville and the Whitestown side of Boone County. In-home clients train in a living room, basement or garage with the equipment I bring; if you have your own setup, we’ll use it. Plenty of clients also mix it up — studio some weeks, home others.

How long is the drive to the Carmel studio?

From the Village, about 15 minutes via 116th Street. From the north side or Whitestown, plan on 20. Sessions start as early as 5 am, so you can train and still beat traffic to work.

I’ve had injuries — can you work around them?

That’s most of what I do. I’ve rebuilt my own body after multiple joint surgeries and a rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis, and every program starts with an assessment of what your body can handle right now. Read more on the About page or in the FAQ.

Or call/text 765-571-1514. Training hours Monday–Friday, 5 am–6 pm. Also serving Carmel, Indianapolis, Westfield, Fishers, Noblesville and Pendleton.
